We are back – and the project goes on
Hi, it was quite quiet during the last months on this blog. But this was because we were so full of new experiences and therefore unable to write blog posts about it. But we collected a lot of video material instead 🙂
And now – we are back in Germany and made a short unordered collection out 50 hours raw material. Its just a „First Impression“ – but we hope you enjoy it.

And if you want to read more about whats going on now, just have a look at our newsletter „First Impressions“.

Unser Abfahrtstag steht fest: Am 5. April 2012 geht unsere Reise los…
Greek Greetings
Happy Easter from Greece. We are celebrating with the rabbits.
Do you know someone on our way?
From April to August 2012 we are making a documentary about stories and everyday life of people living in Europe. For that we are planning a trip along the 24th longitude through Europe, from Greece to Norway. Our project is exciting and challenging. So we are very thankful for any help and support.
We are looking for people in the following countries who could be a first place to go and would like to help to get to know some local people.
Our documentary takes part in the following countries:
- Greece (north-east)
- Bulgaria (west)
- Romania (south-west to north-west)
- Ukraine (west)
- Poland (east)
- Lithuania (eyerywhere)
- Latvia (everywhere)
- Estonia (everywhere)
- Finland (everywhere)
- Norway (north)
- Sweden (south, with a holiday appartment next to a lake & a sauna 😉 )
If you know someone or if we could visit you on our way, just send us a mail!
Thank you very much!
Christian and Susanne
Subtitle project starts
After finishing the first round of viewing and sorting the video material we are now starting the subtitle project.
We made interviews in 7 different languages with nearly 30 persons. And now all these interviews need to be transcribed and translated in to either English or German. Thats a lot of work to do 🙂 But work that has to be done to go on with the project.
These translations are the basis for our documentary. Without these translations we are not able to go any step further – simply because we don’t speak all these languages.
So, this subtitle project starts now and is very essential for the whole documentary project.
Because we cannot do this by our own, we need help from people all over Europe to transcribe or translate the videos.
Please visit the subitle project page and see how You can help us – or just share the link in your social networks.
Any help is really much appreciated.
Yours,
Susan & Christian
