Noch letzter Feinschliff und dann sind wir bereit.

From April to August 2012 we are making a documentary about stories and everyday life of people living in Europe. For that we are planning a trip along the 24th longitude through Europe, from Greece to Norway. Our project is exciting and challenging. So we are very thankful for any help and support.

We are looking for people in the following countries who could be a first place to go and would like to help to get to know some local people.

Our documentary takes part in the following countries:

  • Greece (north-east)
  • Bulgaria (west)
  • Romania (south-west to north-west)
  • Ukraine (west)
  • Poland (east)
  • Lithuania (eyerywhere)
  • Latvia (everywhere)
  • Estonia (everywhere)
  • Finland (everywhere)
  • Norway (north)
  • Sweden (south, with a holiday appartment next to a lake & a sauna 😉 )

Die Route steht

Wir reisen quer durch Europa. Eigentlich längs.

Nämlich auf der längsten Nord-Süd-Achse Europas.
Und die liegt quasi fast genau am 24. Längengrad. Der führt uns von der Mittelmeerküste Griechenlands über die Karpaten in Rumänien entlang der Flüsse Finnlands bis hin zum Ende Europas – dem Nordkap.

Hi, it was quite quiet during the last months on this blog. But this was because we were so full of new experiences and therefore unable to write blog posts about it. But we collected a lot of video material instead 🙂
And now – we are back in Germany and made a short unordered collection out 50 hours raw material. Its just a „First Impression“ – but we hope you enjoy it.

elama am 02. Februar 2025 im ODEON Kino in Köln

Wir sind noch einmal auf elama Reise gegangen. Am 02. Februar 2025 haben sich über 130 Menschen auf den Weg ins ODEON Kino gemacht, um Menschen am 24. Längengrad zu begegnen.

Im anschließenden Gespräch entstand ein lebendiger Dialog, in dem viele Zuschauende teilten, wie sie der Film berührt hat. Immer wieder wurde deutlich, wie die Geschichten Erinnerungen an eigene Träume weckten und neue Perspektiven aufs Leben eröffneten.

Besonders bereichernd war es zu erleben, wie unterschiedlich die verschiedenen Protagonisten und ihre Erzählungen auf jeden Einzelnen wirkten – und welch vielfältige Gedanken und Fragen dadurch angestoßen wurden.

Wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, bei allen die dabei waren.
